What happens to the content I created in Top Hat after Spring 2025?

Why are the downloaded slides from Top Hat different from the slides I see in Top Hat?

When you download slides from Top Hat, it will be the same version as the one you uploaded to Top Hat initially. If you had revised the slides in Top Hat, these revisions will not show in the downloaded version.

How do I add co-instructors or TAs to my course?

What is Top Hat's new Question Builder?

Top Hat has been working on redesigning how their questions are created.  Because the Top Hat Question Builder is still in development, faculty may want to continue using Classic Questions before the new Question Builder is fully developed. You can learn more about this beta functionality from the Top Hat Question Builder documentation.

What is Student View and how do I use it?

Student View allows instructors to view their polling questions from a student perspective. To use student view, you need to click on the “present” button for a question, and then click “student view” on the presentation screen. Please note that your question is live while using “student view,” so there is a possibility that some students may see and answer the question if they happen to be looking at the Top Hat course.
